I released my first book, 'My Verses', on December 24. As I watched my book in anticipation, to see whether any copies sold, I was extremely happy to notice that it reached number 27 on Amazon' Poetry Anthologies chart on Christmas day!

Although with my family, I worked hard in edging customers towards my book, mostly utilising social media techniques to do so.

On Boxing Day, I continued promoting my book, and once again checked on the status of any orders. Imagine my surprise when I realised it had rose to number 2! Just two-hours later, it reached number 1!

I was absolutely amazed, and, although it only remained there for about 2-hours, it is still a monumental achievement, of which I am very proud! But it would not be possible without the people willing to take a chance on an unknown author, and reading my book. If you have read it, I wholeheartedly thank you.
